Eritrean refugees in Harrisonburg

Some of you might recognize the people in this video...

Gail update 10/3

Gail's surgery went well on Thursday. She is recovering quickly and I found out today that she is coming home tonight! Thank you all for the prayers!

Gail update 9/30 --Good News!

God is good! Gail had tests done today and the doctors have said that it is not as bad as they had originally thought. The cancer is in her chest wall, but not as deep as they had feared.  They said it has been lying dormant from when she had cancer before, but it has not spread. She will have surgery tomorrow at 10:30am, and it should be fairly straighforward.

Gail update 9/29

Gail is flying to Chicago today. She will have her MRI tomorrow morning at 11:00AM. Please pray hard at that time. They went ahead and scheduled her surgery for 10:00am on Thursday. We are praying that they are able to get out all of the cancer with this surgery.  Please take a few moments to pray throughout the day for Gail. She is craving everyone's prayers for healing and for strength.

Gail update 9/26

Gail will be flying to Chicago on Tuesday. They will do testing on Wednesday and possible surgery on Thursday. Please pray that she will be able to have her 4 year old daughter with her as much as possible. Pray for healing and for peace.

Urgent Prayer Needed!

I am writing here to request prayer for a very close friend of mine, Gail Romeo, who just found out that she has cancer in her chest cavity. She is a breast cancer survivor, but recently became concerned that the cancer may have returned. This was confirmed early this week and the doctors say it doesn't look good.

My dream about Meriah

The night Crissy was in labor I couldn't sleep. I was restless and woke every hour praying fervently. I had a sense of anxiety and concern that I couldn't explain. I dreamed several dreams about both Crissy and Meriah, but when I woke up I could only remember one of them.

Continuing to share

It has been so amazing to see the outpouring of love and support for Baby Meriah. I have no doubt that God has responded to the prayers of many people. While Christopher continues to post updates on Meriah, I was thinking that there may also be other prayer requests or praises that we could share. This experience has brought us all together and we have certainly seen God at work.

An inspirational story

This was passed on to me by a friend and I thought I'd share with you all too.

Baruch

This Friday (November 21st) evening at 6:30, Baruch will be held at "Our Community Place" in Harrisonburg, across from the Little Grill. Baruch means "blessed", and this is a time for local christian artists to come together to worship God through music or other forms of art.
