El Salvador Update

I just realized that we havent posted any updates on what has been happening.  We are planning on going to El Salvador  this month.  Right now we are waiting for our insurance application to be processed.  Once we have proof of insurance we can go ahead and purchase our tickets.  Once we are there we will have 3 months to get temporary residency.   We are also

The Uno Game

I never thought uno could be so exciting.  This is the great Uno competition between the Williams clan and the Sturgess clan recorded live in Niles MI.    Enjoy!

God's leading. . .

Well, Friday has passed and there is not change in our visa status or
even a positive response about it happening.

I called the embassy multiple times each day this week using all 8
numbers that I have, including two lines to the officers.  I probably
called 20 - 30 times each day.  No one ever answered.  We talked to

Please Pray

Please pray for us today.  We set today as our deadline to hear something positive from the embassy.  They have had our application for almost 6 weeks and have made no effort to contact us.  If God wan't us to go to India we asked that he would make that clear to us by today.  I have called the embassy about 30 times (I'm not exaggerating!) and Travisa is sending a note with

First Field Recording

Is the closed door a lazy way to seek God?

Well, we still haven't heard anything.  Subconsciously we have given up on going to India, though I know that God can work it out still.  We realized that we haven't been praying about it much, we havn't been restling with God over it.  We have kind of taken the approach that whatever happens God is in control and that must be his will. . .

Ross Lake

Crissy, her brothers and I went to Ross Lake in Washington this past week.  It was awesome.  God's creation is truely beautiful.  We rented kayaks and paddled up the lake to a camp site along the lake.   Check out the pictures below.  They may take a few moments.

El Salvador Info

Crissy and I are at Hogar Escuela Adventista in El Salvador, Central America.  It is a childrens home for kids without parents or parents unable to care for them.  There are about 100 students in seven homes.  We will tell you more about it as time goes on.
