Paulington Studio Fixed and Improved

Paulington Studio functional again with a repaired monitor system and computer upgrades. The main amplifier board in one of the monitors was replaced to clear up a nearly four month problem that rendered the monitoring system useless.

At the same time, the CPUs in the studio computer were upgraded to a faster model; this additional CPU power will allow for additional DSP power. Serveral projects in the mix had maxed out the DSP capabilites of the old system. With these new CPUs work will resume.

The primary computer monitor was swapped out for a new 20" LCD monitor. The old monitor, a 17" CRT, emitted an audioble buzz when powered on. The new monitor's crisp image and high resolution provideds additional work space not afforeded by the old monitor.

A new wireless keyboard and mouse system were also installed to facilitate recording from the studio when doing solo recording work.

I would just like to say that I think that that is really awesome about the studio having a new monitor that doesn't buzz anymore. What more can I say?
