It's great to see photographs from your lives, especially this new addition. Is the pilot only working for your mission? Or are you just one of the projects he is helping?
The pilot is with Global Ministry Incorporated (GMI), David Gate's organization. Currently we are the only project he is helping, but he is seeking ways to also assist Philippine Frontier Mission (PFM) projects on the other side of the island. PFM is a daughter organization to AFM that sends out nationals to unreached areas as well. Unfortunately we have very little contact with them up to this point, but perhaps with the helicopter we can network some.
The helicopter is currently based in Kementian, where we live, because there isn't anywhere to park it and store it securely in the coastal town of Brooke's Point, which is normally our base when out of the mountains. So currently the helicopter sits out on a short landing strip that was made several years ago, in faith that there would someday be air support!! We are in real need of our own property with some housing and certainly a small hangar in Brooke's Point. We're praying for the Lord's timing, the Lord's direction on location and of course, the means with which to procure the property.
Today, the helicopter got hit by lightening! But so far, no evidence of damage. Praise be to God!!
I'm anxious to send you all more pictures. I've ridden twice now and the view of the Tamlang River gorge is pretty impressive. I don't know if my pictures will begin to do it justice, but we'll see.

Thanks for posting these! It was exciting to hear about, but even more exciting to actually see it! I wish we could be there...
