My Box

I like this box I've lived in, it's been a good place to be,

Its walls make me feel comfortable, familiarity has always been what I like to see.

And everywhere I have ever been, it's been no trouble to bring along,

In fact I've doubted that without I'd have had courage to even sing a song.

But I've always had this nagging suspicion, there's something better beyond my box,

A place without any preconcieved notions or seemingly obvious thoughts.

And if I just found the courage to step outside this place I've always lived,

The wonders my eyes would behold would leave regret for why I had not earlier fled.

Even if troubles and storms should arise if I were not in my box but outside,

The walls couldn't fall down around me with something as natural as the tide.

So Lord, please give me the strength to leave all my logic behind,

That more faith and hope and love I may more easily find.

Has being in CO been pushing you out of your box?  I'd love to hear what you guys have been up to there.  Some pictures of Sarah would be great too!!  We miss you both!

Were hoping to get our of our box soon, we've been trying to for 5 months now :o)
