Philippine Mission Trip

NOTE:  This is a post from a Sabbath school class at New Market Church.  Obviously a recruiting letter.  This seemed like "a creative way to share the gospel" so thought I'd post here.  :)

As some of you may know, my parents are missionaries in the jungles of the Philippines with Adventist Frontier Missions.  Just recently, they have been working on a new medical clinic to help meet the ever-growing need for health care in their area.  Just last year, the final $5000 was brought in for the
completion of the clinic and all was thought to be in order.  HOWEVER.... I talked to my dad recently and asked "So, how's the clinic coming?"  Not so well.  Evidently, they (my mom & dad, 3 student missionaries, 1 short-term volunteer) have been maxed out seeing patients, saving lives, teaching school, giving Bible studies, etc. that no one has had time or necessary talent to finish the construction of the clinic.  The 20 x 30 foot tin-roof medical building sits UNUSED because they don't have enough manpower to finish the work and put it into service for the 5000+ patients they see each year.  How sad is that???  Since that time, I've been talking with my dad about the possibility of bringing some talented people to the Philippines to help them finish this project.  I've discussed the opportunity with several people and so far I think money is the big issue.  My little sister (Stephanie) and her boyfriend (Casey Walters) are working with me on avenues for funding and we are dedicated to seeing this project through.  We are looking for mission-minded individuals with construction capabilities who might be interested in donating 10-14 days of their time & talent to help make this dream come true.
