Here is a good article.  I like that he starts out quoting Bastiat.  I would rather look at taxation from a perspective of law and justice and common sense than from a religious perspective.  I find it hard to explain why tho.

What a fascinating article.  Thank you for posting.

Some thoughts on justice and common sense vs. religion:

I think there is a perceived mystical separation between spirituality and reality.  I don't think it's real.  If the Spiritual realm is real (I believe it is), then it is part of reality.
