voter fraud

NoLessDays is not a political site, but this is my blog, so... grain of salt here folks. :)

Some of us are disappointed to see Dr. Ron Paul register lower numbers than expected in the New Hampshire primaries.  I've never felt so compelled to "believe" in a conspiracy theory.  Yeah well, conspiracies do exist; it's just hard knowing when there really is one.  I suppose there is ample pressure on the media from their underwritters (big businesses benefitting for our war in Iraq) to exclude Ron Paul for fear of the impact of his message of liberty and a "humble foreign policy."  Humility and the golden rule just don't seem to set well with these folks, but they does with me.

So as I'm pondering all these thoughts, I see a little blip come across one of the RP supporter sites, the daily paul.  It turns out, there is at least one confirmed instance of voter fraud (or a mistake) in New Hampshire.  One small precinct reported no votes for Dr. Paul.  Thanks to vigilent supporters, someone that new folks in that precint realized that this was in fact WRONG.  I don't know the whole story, but somehow the folks in charge of the election finally admited that Dr. Paul received 31 votes there; NOT 0.  So what's up with that!?

While this news riles up concern about the rest of New Hampshire's precincts, it serves to soothe my need for a conspiracy.

Man, I hope this guy wins!  But even if he does, it will only serve as the calm before the storm.  This world isn't getting better and we need to take advantage of the little freedom we have left -- and maybe make an effort to keep it as long as possible too?  My (very personal) suggestion: vote for Dr. Ron Paul.

I was just listening to Bob Edwards on NPR and he had David Earnhardt on as a guest. He has just released a new documentary looking at "how American votes are being mishandled, largely due to the electronic ballot machines." What he shared on the interview was pretty shocking. Here are a couple of links that might be of interest to all of you political activists who are blogging about Ron Paul.

I'll look forward to watching that Shannon.  Just after posting my blog, I watched another documentary on the same subject, "Hacking Democracy."  I watched it on YouTube.  I encourage those that can to watch it.  Hacking Democracy
