When I was discussing some of the topics that have been on NLD recently my husband recommended two things to read.  One was Plato's Republic and the other was the Federalist Papers.  So, guess what?  I hav embarked on reading them.  Starting with the Federalist papers which I can read online.  Some of you may have read them a long time ago or not at all.&n

As Close as I Can Get

I feel impressed to write even though I honestly am at a loss for words for which to articulate my thoughts. You might say I've lost the taste for debate on such a troubling issue as whether the state should exist. It's too easy to be misleading in your arguments, and in the end, mislead your own good intentions.
