Precinct calling

I suppose folks know I have a great deal of respect for Dr. Ron Paul, and would be delighted to see him serve as president of this country... but did you know I volunteered to help in the campaign?  Six months ago, had I been told I'd be working for republican presidential campaign, I would've laughed... but here I am.

First El Salvador Pictures

I finally got some pictures online.  You can find them here:

It is much easier to upload them there.  I think on Paul's site there is an option to upload from Picasa.  Maybe we can work that in to the new site.  But for now, this is much easier.

are you dissatisfied?

The question posed this morning in worship by Frank Fornier is how do we begin to have a revival in our life? This question is a common one and there are many "formula's" to work with. But just in case you were interested, here is another:

medical runs

Yesterday, Sabbath after I taught the ladies Sabbath School and after church, a young guy showed up telling us about more people that were sick in an area that Kent and Jilin had hiked to the previous day in order to make sure a landing pad was appropriate for the helicopter to get in.

Mishaps @ Southern

It is Sabbath afternoon here at Southern Adventist University right now. I went on a backpacking trip today, I was going to leave yesterday, afternoon, but since I was going by myself, I didn't really have the umpph to do it, so I went to bed early and left this morning. Now it is late afternoon Saturday, and I'm back in my dorm room. I was a rather interesting experience for me.

acoustic rock group from Georgia

I just did a google search for no less days and came across an "acoustic/rock" group from Georgia. HMMMMM....

We finally have a date. . .

We are closer than ever to leaving to go to El Salvador.  It has been a bit of a rollercoaster.  On Wednesday we found out that the insurance we applied for was approved for me but not for Crissy.  We were a bit shocked and frustrated.  It took several weeks to get through this process and now we would start over again!  A few more weeks.. . . a few more weeks. . .
